This pair of mews houses are currently being constructed in Dublin 4. The previous use was a large print warehouse which sat on a double mews site, the only commercial use on this residential lane in Dublin 4.

Our scheme provides a single storey pair of garages, a modern version of the coach houses which would have sat here originally which serviced the main Victorian Houses on Waterloo Road. Beyond this is a courtyard which both houses share and have their front doors open out onto. Beyond this, one house is a typical Dublin mews with 3 bedrooms, the other is more generous and to the rear spans the double mews width to create a sense of space and shifts the typical linear axis.  The larger house has a central courtyard and garden beyond.

Ceiling heights varies through out along with floor levels to enclose, compress and release along the journey through.
