Mark Arigho is a founding Director of Arigho Larmour Wheeler. A Grade III Architect Accredited in Conservation (RIAI). Born in Dublin in 1977, he studied at the Canterbury School of Architecture and University College Dublin and has practiced in the UK, Australia and Ireland. He spent over a decade as Senior Architect at de Blacam & Meagher, working across private residential and commercial projects. His private residential experience includes one-off houses, protected structures, requiring close collaboration with clients and a high level of discretion and trust. In parallel, he worked on large-scale residential developments with Island Capital and complex commercial projects, including the Digicel Headquarters in Port au Prince, Haiti, within fast-paced, multi disciplinary design teams.
His thinking has been shaped by time spent moving between places, a life oriented toward the ocean, and surfing as a way of engaging with landscape, climate and culture. Coming from a large Spanish family, several of whom are architects, and inspired by music, drawing and art, he brings a hands-on, observant approach that carries each project from design through to completion on site.
